Enam had grown up in the west all of his life. As a young colt he had enjoyed the hot air against his glimmering bay coat. Although at times he would become overwhelmingly overheated, he found himself attracted to the desert life. So, when instructed to leave by his dam, Enam could only choose to wander into a territory so familiar as his old home. He dreamed of raising his own herd, and building a legend on a land that he had fallen in love with at a young age, and Bluebird's Desert was just the right place to begin.

Enam's chocolate eyes darted up to the stunning blue sky that seemed to stretch for eternities. His slender legs carried him in a graceful, relaxed movement across the hard desert floor. The Arab stallion's ears detected the sound of a faint trickle, and his petite frame carried him towards it. Aha! Perfect! Enam thought as he caught sight of a fresh water river before him. He approached the river with caution before stretching his long, arched neck to examine it. After a few moments of sniffing, Enam dipped his velvet black nose into the cool water, which seemed to spark some energy and life into him. After a couple of peaceful minutes of drinking, Enam's head shot up from the water and he gazed off in a bit of a trance, imagining what his new life here would bring him. He envisioned mares and foals, dancing and playing around the desert, surrounding the river and exchanging merry chat. He then picked up a graceful trot towards a cluster of rocks, where several small desert creatures were perching. Enam let out a shrill whinny of joy, which startled them and sent them sprinting off of the rocks. Enam shook his head in pleasure and flicked his tail. He knew that this moment would probably be the most carefree moment of his life, it was just him, the sun, the river, and the wide open land. But not for long. Enam had plans, big ones. His strong back legs launched him into a rear, and with a powerful landing, Enam knew that this was his home, and here he would build the life he had always dreamed of.
